The Twin Cities is the unofficial skateboard gem of the Midwest, so many guys start their careers of here. The top 3 today are well on there way also. Ryan Yost had tons of energy and skated the entire street course FAST! He landed kick flip back 5-0 and nollie 5-0 down the hubba, crooked the out ledge, and half cab blunt revert the quarter. Ryan will join all the other rippers so far in California on the Zumiez Best Foot Forward Am Contest Seires presented by Boost Mobile. Local favorite and all-around good guy Jamiel Nowparvar got tech with manual ollie manual over the planter/leg burial ground and a 180 switch many. He also switch heel and 3 flipped the set and wallie feebled the wall ride to 2nd place. Nate Compher always a contest killer nollie flip and switch flip down the set, switch back tail across the ledge, and nollie noseslide down the rail. That would be good enough for 1st on another day, but he happily got 3rd today.
