Almost Skateboards was formed in 2003 by Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song. Almost Skateboards diversify themselves from other companies, by using other materials such as Resin and Epoxy, along with a few other experimental methods. Almost has released two skateboards that use carbon fiber; The uber Light and the Impact Support. The uber Light contains a carbon foam core, giving it the strength of a deck inside a deck. The Impact Support uses Carbon Fiber discs, inserted around the truck mounting areas to prevent pressure cracks and common board breakage. Impact Supports are covered by a 30 day warranty. Almost is known for its lightweight products, and the technical manouvers performed by the team riders.
