The History of Almost Skateboards

Almost Skateboards was formed in 2003 by Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song. Almost Skateboards diversifies themselves from other companies by using less traditional materials, such as Resin and Epoxy, along with a few other more experimental skateboard technology. Almost Skateboards has released two skateboards that use carbon fiber; The uber Light and the Impact Support. The uber Light contains a carbon foam core, giving it the strength of a deck inside a deck. The Impact Support uses Carbon Fiber discs, inserted around the truck mounting areas to prevent pressure cracks and common board breakage. Almost Skateboards are known for their lightweight products, and the technical prowess of the Almost skate team.
