Black Scale Clothing
Black Scale Clothing was founded in 2007 by former
HUF managers Michael "Mega" Yabut and Alfred De Tagle in San Francisco originally just making tee shirts. Since their inception Black Scale has evolved into a streetwear tycoon that specializes in urban streetwear with a sophisticated edge. Black Scale quickly expanded into a large up scale boutique that now has several stores located in New York, LA, and their flagship store in San Francisco. Black Scale now produces top of the line tee shirts, hoodies, hats, jeans, jackets and many more items complete with their signature sophisticated and urban style. Black Scale prides itself on steering clear of the trends and fads and as Co-Founder Michael Yabut says, Black Scale is "a breath of fresh air for the more sophisticated shopper tired of the all-over print and obnoxiously loud colors synonymous with other streetwear labels." Black Scale operates under the notion that people out there need voices to be heard in this cluttered and mainstream world and their goal is to break out of the ordinary and provide a line of products you can buy knowing that they are unique, high quality and made with you, the customer, in mind. Yabut and Tagle have created a creative social movement to branch out of the ordinary and give you a taste of the extraordinary so that you can walk down the street in true style that is fit to you. Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming release of Black Scale's new Women's line of products and more collaborations like their existing collaborations with music artist A$ap Rocky and LA artist Jun Cha.
