The history of DC

DC has been a leader in performance skate shoes and skateboard apparel since 1993, when Ken Block and Damon Way founded DC. Today DC is a renowned action sports brand known world wide and now caters their products to include men's, women's and kids' shoes. To this day DC still incorporates the infamous DC pill pattern on all footwear models including their snowboard boots. DC builds some of the most technical and deluxe skate shoes available, which are ridden by a world-class team of pro skateboarders, snowboarders, surfers, and rally athletes. The reason why DC shoes are worn by more pros than any other shoe is because they are built with the highest technological support for riding a skateboard, like quality lightweight cup sole construction, EVA foot beds, and the right amount of protection to protect against bruises without taking away board control or feel. Besides being a leader in skateboarding shoes, DC also produces snowboards, snow jackets, gloves, pants, boots, and a massive line of t-shirts (largely featuring DC's trademark star logo) and many other accessories, like beanies, backpacks, lanyards, and shoe laces.
