Generic Surplus
An off shoot of The Generic Man,
Generic Surplus embodies everyone's right to individuality and personal style. Founded in Los Angeles, CA, Generic Surplus aims to combine the aesthetics of the city with shoes that anyone can wear. Defined by design, not logos or brand names, Generic Surplus believes that footwear fashion should be dictated by the wearer, using their own sense of style to represent themselves and their dress.
Zumiez proudly carries the Generic Surplus and Obey collaboration shoes. Combining streetwear with sensibility, head footwear designer, Dennys Han worked with Obey's Mike Ternosky and Erin Wignal Ham to create a diverse collection for brand wearer alike. A suede moccasin style slip-on Mingus shoe and Oxford Dury shoe in floral and leopard prints were designed for girls, and an old school basketball High Top with moc-toe stitching and the Navy inspired Wharf shoe for guys.
