Uncle Gilbert lived his life on the road, and mostly in the fast lane. As a pace car driver on the NASCAR circuit, ball boy for the NBA, a backup referee in the NFL, and even drove the Zamboni for the NHL. With this line of work he spent most of the 90's traveling the country enjoying the local traditions, brews, and harassing fans at all the local sporting events he attended. After years on the he road he was recognized as a "Local Legend" to those who knew him in from Chicago, New York, LA, Seattle, and even into Canada. The Local Legend Uncle Gilbert would always say, "The road is a cruel heartless place, and there's nowhere like home." He had an eye for style, and a story to tell from every state. In honor of this great man, the brand Local Legends stands today as a tribute.
