The History of Sanuk

Sanuk was founded by Southern California native Jeff Kelley. Sanuk produces some of the most innovative sandals (and other footwear) around, like the Yoga Mat sandals, which are truly made from Yoga mat material -- giving your feet a spiritual experience every day you wear them -- and the Indoor-Outdoor Carpet sandals.

Taking their name from the Thai word "Sanuk" (just for the heck of it), Sanuk strives to make products that are as much about funk as they are about function.

Sanuk have twice been awarded at the SIMA Image Awards with the Product of the Year. Sanuk is most well-known for the Sidewalk Surfer, for their patented sandal construction thtat allows your feet to bend and flex with natural motion.

Sanuk sponsors a group of premier athletes, including surfers like Donavon Frankenreiter and Dave Rastovich. Sanuk products are now in nearly 70 countries across the globe.
