Stepchild Snowboards
Stepchild Snowboards was started in 2002 by 90's pro snowboarder Sean Johnson and has seen great success in the snowboard world while keeping it's entire focus on the progression of snowboarding. Truly rider driven and owned, Stepchild Snowboards has legendary super-pro JP Walker and ultra smooth Simone Chamberlain as owners and team riders. In addition, they have rail riding powerhouse Joey Sexton and an army of ams who they claim "are better than most company's pros." The company designs and engineers their boards in Vancouver, Canada with production in Austria. Their focus is on freestyle and urban snowboarding with the "Powder Sucks" board winning the Transworld Good Wood award for 2009 and 2012.
They are an independent snowboarding brand with a strong focus on developing snowboards that stand out and a team and staff that is purely dedicated to snowboarding, individualism, and the progression of snowboarding.
Zumiez proudly carries a selection of Stepchild Snowboards, including the Powder Sucks and the JP Walker.
