The History of Volcom for Girls
Volcom is a surf, skate, and snow brand based in Costa Mesa, CA, founded by Richard "Wooly" Woolcott and Tucker "T-Dawg" Hall all the way back in 1991. Being boarders themselves, Wooly and T-Dawg wanted to create premium action-sports-oriented clothing and accessories. The hit the nail on the head, and now the Volcom stone is popping up all over the place, on pro boarders, at skate parks, at the beaches, and on the streets.
