What started as a group of brothers and friends making crochet hats turned into a non-profit company and eventually Krochet Kids International, which helps people learn to support themselves through an artisan craft.

With the idea of teaching the people of war torn Northern Uganda how to hook-and-sew crochet for a fair wage, this beanie and accessory brand has branched the "fair trade" production into Peru now, and has changed thousands of lives, all the while making stylish hats.

By giving fair wages to the people of these countries, Krochet Kids have lived up to their motto of "Buy a Hat. Save A Life." Close panel
