Originating from the Bay Area and based in Los Angeles, Teruo Artistry (pronounced teh-roo-oh) is a creative lifestyle clothing brand inspired by a collective of artists who dedicate their lives to creating something from nothing. Embodying art, music and fashion, they are always creating by any dreams necessary.

The Teruo name comes from the founders' grandfather who, after being incarcerated in the Japanese-American concentration camps of World War II, became a successful entrepreneur thanks to his paintings and stained glass. They adopted the name in the hopes of emulating Teruo's immense perseverance, courage and talent.

In Japanese, Teruo means "sunshine/good fortune-man".

What started as a collective of artists and designers has turned into a full clothing brand with stylish t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, snapbacks, tank tops, and more.
