The history of LRG
Focusing on the design to overthrow the masses with their influence,
LRG is a clothing and accessories brand that strives to bring forth original style that embodies the innovative essence. Otherwise known as
Lifted Research Group, their slogan is simple: "
underground inventive, overground effective" and it is with this mentality that LRG has been able to create unique clothing like tee shirts, pants, shorts outerwear and more as well as accessories like snapback hats, watches, bags, stickers, shoes and more for the above-average guy.
Located out of Southern California, LRG was founded in 1999 by Jonas Bevacqua and MC Robert Wright who came together originally as musical acquaintances and eventually formulated logos and designs. Unlike other brands at the time who only focused on an individual subculture, LRG clothing set out to utilize designs and styles that reflected their own personal interests, fusing together subcultures like skate and hip hop to create a brand that was truly innovative and original.
Shining the spotlight on independent and underground culture, the Lifted Research Group constantly pushes past conventional norms to deliver diverse and unique clothing and accessories for guys. LRG for men is much more than concepts or even clothing, but rather a way of living through style and expression.
