  • Why are there multiple charges on my account?

    Your order may be shipped from multiple locations, and each shipment will be a separate charge to your account, only for the amount of that shipment.

    When your order is placed we will contact your bank for authorization to approve the purchase. When that authorization is provided your bank will place a hold on those funds in the form of a temporary transaction called an “authorization hold” or “pending transaction”. These holds are applied by your bank and subject to their policies.

    When your order is shipped, we will process the actual charge to your account, also called a “settlement” or “funds capture”. If your order is shipped in multiple packages there will be a separate charge for each package. The total of all charges will not exceed the amount of the original transaction.

    Depending on how your bank processes and displays these transactions, it’s possible both the authorization hold and the actual charges will appear at the same time. Please allow 3-5 business days for your bank to process everything completely.

    What payment types does Zumiez accept?

    Zumiez accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB, PayPal and Zumiez gift cards for payment on Zumiez.com. Additionally, you may choose to reserve your purchase online and visit your local store to pay in cash.

    When will my account be charged?

    Your account is not charged for your purchase until we ship your order.

    How is a refund processed?

    A refund is processed differently than a charge to your account and may take 3-5 days to be posted by your bank after it is processed by our team.

    How refunds can be received:

    Refunds are processed to the original form of payment, except in the following circumstances:

    • ATM and Debit card purchases may receive cash refunds in-store only.
    • Credit Card refunds may only be credited to the original credit card. If the original credit card is not an option, a gift card will be provided
    • PayPal purchases returned in-store can only be refunded by gift card, for a refund to your PayPal account please mail your order to the Returns Center.
    • In-store purchases mailed to the returns center can only be refunded by gift card, if you would like credit in the original form of payment you must bring your return to a Zumiez store.
    • Gift card refunds greater than $10 can only be refunded by gift card.
  • When will my order ship?

    Our shipping teams are wicked fast! If your order is placed before 1pm PST it is highly likely to be shipped the same business day, and tracking should be active by the following business day.

    • All orders are subject to inventory availability and order verification. Please make sure to provide accurate billing and contact information to facilitate the order verification process.

    How do I choose the best shipping method?

    • I love visiting my local Zumiez store: Go back a step and choose Ship to Store (US only)
    • I need it tomorrow: Choose Next Day delivery
    • I need it in 2-3 days: Choose Express
    • I need it within 3-4 days: Choose Standard
    • I am not in a hurry to receive my order: Choose Economy or Free Shipping when available
    • I do not receive mail from USPS: Choose Standard shipping for guaranteed UPS Ground delivery
    • I do not receive UPS delivery: Ship your order to a PO Box for guaranteed USPS delivery
    • I live in a rural part of the country: Your shipping time will always be at the later end of the range.

    If we are unable to ship your order for any reason, we will notify you are soon as we are aware.

    What shipping carrier does Zumiez use?

    Zumiez ships most packages via UPS and USPS and uses DHL for international shipments, although we may change these at any time.

    If you are unable to receive delivery from either one of these carriers, please see the Shipping Method Guide for more information.

    Tips for shipping to an APO/FPO address

    Make sure to include the recipient’s full name and rank if applicable.

    • Use all address fields available, including "Company Name", "Address 1" and "Address 2" if necessary. Sometimes Military addresses are long!
    • Enter "APO" or "FPO" into the "City" field. This indicates that it is going to a military installation for delivery.
    • The State/Province field must read "Armed Forces" with the appropriate location. Options are Africa, Americas, Canada, Europe, Middle East, or Pacific.
    • Country field: Always select "United States" from the drop-down menu regardless of where the recipient is stationed. This is the only way the system will know to charge for domestic and not international shipping and will result in a significantly lower shipping cost.

    I want Free Shipping!

    Free shipping is often offered for orders over a certain dollar amount, and is sometimes offered on all orders. Check out our current free shipping offers!

    We always offer free shipping when you ship to your local Zumiez store (available in the U.S. only).

    The Fine Print:

    • Available to addresses within the contiguous U.S only.
    • Allow 5-7 business days for delivery.
    • All free shipping orders are shipped via UPS or USPS, often using a method that involves both carriers.
    • Delivery changes and tracers are not available with Free Shipping.
    • Oversized items are not included. (Any exempt items will be called out in the product description, so check there to see if an item is excluded as oversized)

    What countries does Zumiez ship to?

    Zumiez.com is able to ship product to the following countries:

    USA, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Australia, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Grenada, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.

    If your country is not listed, we are unable to ship to your address at this time, but please continue to check back as we expand our business.

    Credit cards issued from any country other than those listed above can not be accepted, regardless of the location of the shipping address.

    NOTE: We ship to all U.S. Territories. The following can be found in the ship-to options when you choose United States as the country in the checkout process: American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

    International Shipping Policies

    • All orders are subject to verification prior to processing and shipping.
    • We are required to complete a customs declaration with the retail value of the item(s) purchased, Zumiez cannot legally declare your order as a gift.
    • Our current available shipping method is DHL Express Worldwide, this can change at any time.
    • All prices are in US dollars.
    • Selected product is not available to ship outside of the United States. Items we cannot ship internationally are: Burton (Hardgoods), Anon, RED Helmets, Volcom (can ship to Canada only), all Oakley Goggles and Oakley Sunglasses, all snowboards, boots and bindings except for Aperture and Alibi, Levi's, Nixon Watches, G-Shock Watches and Headphones. Additionally we do not ship products manufactured primarily of wood to Mexico at this time, which includes most of our skate decks. Orders of these products will be canceled in our system.
    • Some inventory on our site is held in our U.S. Zumiez stores, which are not able to ship internationally. If your order includes an item only available in a store we will send you an email notification.
    • We ship to international residential addresses only; we do not ship to businesses, hotels, motels or resorts outside of the U.S.
    • The customer assumes the cost of any return shipping for refunds or exchanges.
    • During the order verification step we may contact you by email to request additional information. If we do not receive a response within 3 business days after our attempted contact, that order will be canceled.
    • International customers must pay applicable sales tax, duties and customs charges which are determined by your local government and vary by country. Duties, taxes and/or customs fees will be an additional amount collected upon delivery of your order. We are unable to provide you with the exact amount of the charges.     Duties and Taxes

    International customers must pay applicable sales tax, duties and customs charges which are determined by your local government and vary by country. Your order confirmation details only the amount collected by Zumiez.com, please contact your local government for specific details. By completing your order you agree to pay all applicable fees. If you refuse or return your order no international shipping charges or fees paid to local government can be refunded.

    Zumiez in Canada

    • Purchases made online or in U.S. stores cannot be returned or exchanged in our Canada stores.
    • Purchases made in Canada stores cannot be returned or exchanged in US stores or through our online returns process.
    • Orders placed through Zumiez.com cannot be shipped to stores in Canada.
    • Gift cards are eligible for use in the country where they are purchased. i.e., Cards purchased in Canada may only be used in Zumiez Canada stores, and cards purchased online or in a U.S. store may only be used in the U.S. or online.
  • Buying a Gift card

    Gift cards can be purchased in any Zumiez store or on Zumiez.com. Online we offer both physical cards to be shipped and e-gift cards, which are emailed within 24 hours to the email address of your choice. For more information about purchasing gift cards, go to our gift card page.

    Checking or Combining Gift Card Balances

    Gift card balances can be checked any time on our gift card page or by calling, or by calling 1-800-871-4531. Any Zumiez location can also provide you with the balance on your card.

    What is an e-Gift Card?

    An e-gift card is delivered to the recipient via their email address, and is available for use at Zumiez.com and in U.S. Zumiez stores. The recipient will simply print out their gift and use it right away!

    More info about e-Gift Cards:

    • e-gift cards are sent via email immediately upon completion of payment verification. In many cases, this will be within a few hours, and may take up to 24 hours. Please provide accurate billing contact information in order to facilitate the verification process.
    • When you purchase an e- gift card payment is processed as soon as the order information is verified. If you have requested immediate delivery of the gift card an email will be sent within 2 hours of the order being verified.
    • If you have requested delayed arrival of your e gift card, your payment will still be processed right away and the gift email will be sent to the recipient on the morning of the date requested.
    • Gift cards should be treated as cash and protected from loss or theft. Retaining the sales receipt and gift card number will help if the card is missing or damaged. Please visit a Zumiez store or contact Customer Care with the information and we will do everything we can to replace the card. We can only replace the value remaining at the time the loss is reported and sales information is provided.

    An e-gift card was not received

    Gift Card Details

    • Gift cards are available online in increments from $10 to $500. In store, gift cards can be purchased in any amount over $10.
    • Zumiez Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Balances of $10 or less can be cashed out at a Zumiez retail store upon request.
    • Lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards may be canceled and replaced with a new gift card upon proof of purchase, in the amount of the balance remaining at the time of cancelation of the original card. Proof of purchase in the form of a sales receipt or original card number and date of purchase is required to perform the replacement.
    • e-gift cards are generally received via email within hours, please allow up to 24 hours for payment verification.
    • You can combine multiple gift card balances together at Zumiez.com, a Zumiez store location or by contacting Zumiez Customer Care at 877-828-6929. Please have the gift card numbers and security codes available.
    • Physical gift cards only may be reloaded at any Zumiez store location in the country where the card was purchased.
    • Gift cards are eligible for use in the country where they are purchased. i.e., Cards purchased in Canada may only be used in Zumiez Canada stores, and cards purchased online or in a U.S. store may only be used in the U.S. or online.
