Zumiez: "Are there a lot of skaters in your high school? Do they treat you weird now that you are getting more coverage?"
Alec Majerus: "No, there's like 2 skaters in my high school probably, and I am really good friends with both of them. So I mean we've always just been friends since we were little. So it's no different."
Zumiez: "How old were you when you entered your first contest?"
Alec Majerus: "I think I was 9 when I entered my first contest, at this little skate park in my hometown, and I was in beginner class, and I won it. I was super psyched. "
Zumiez: "How many times have you competed in Zumiez Best Foot Forward? How'd you do?"
Alec Majerus: "I think I was in Zumiez Best Foot Forward like 3 years in a row. I got 1st in one of them I know of, and then I got like 2nd in another one."
Zumiez: "Do you approach contests any differently than when you're out filming or just skating with friends?"
Alec Majerus: "You know, its just always skating with the homies, and having a lot of fun. You know try to keep it mellow, and not get stressed out like a contest or something. Just have fun."
Zumiez: "What does Geoff Rowley mean when he says your "power and confidence" are starting to take off?"
Alec Majerus: "I guess, I think that he means that I am just getting older, and bigger, getting more muscle I guess, learning new tricks. Something like that."
