Bode Merrill: "Alaska is definitely the final frontier. Best snow. Best terrain. You get to ride in helicopters, but also like Europe is amazing, I've been to Sweden. So many rails. So many good rail riders. I think i'd go back for rail riding."

Zumiez: "How did the Merrill Mini Pipe event come about?"

Bode Merrill: "Just riding High Cascade every summer and watching so many good riders ride the mini pipe. Pipes nowadays are so big and massive and nobody actually rides them, except for like the guys that are chasing the Olympic dream. "

Zumiez: "When are you going pro for trampoline boarding?"

Bode Merrill: "Tramp boarding is so fun. I've done it since I was a little kid, when I started hanging out with Scott Stevens and Austin Granger and Chris Beresford and all those guys we'd just cruise around or just hang out in Scott's backyard and just tramp skate for hours. It's so fun."

Zumiez: "You're known for buying your friends cosmopolitans. Do you have a Sex in the City obsession?"

Bode Merrill: "It's just a hilarious drink to buy for your friends. I don't know its really funny but, the thing is, its such a &#%!@? drink, but you're not allowed to drink it like a &#%!@?. If you get it, you have to chug it, throw it back all in one. "

Zumiez: "At what point did you realize you could land all of your tricks one-footed?"

Bode Merrill: " I still haven't realized that I can land all my tricks one footed. Its pretty much a huge battle of trial and error with those tricks. I eat shit way more than I land shit. Thats for sure. "
