ZUMIEZ: "How did you get your start in snowboarding?"
Brandon Hammid: "I first started snowboarding up in Fairbanks, Alaska, like 10 or 9 years ago. I joined the Air Force so it was the only thing I could really do as an outlet to keep myself stoked, and it was on the army base up there. I would just go on the weekends, and yeah, it was really fun."
ZUMIEZ: "What did you do in the Military?"
Brandon Hammid: "I was in the military for 6 years. The Air Force, where I worked on the flight line delivering bombs to the jets. Then I got transferred to Hill, Utah, where I worked in a warehouse for 3 years."
ZUMIEZ: "Were you stoked to end up in Utah?"
Brandon Hammid: "I am originally from Salt Lake, but I got transferred back to Salt Lake just by luck, by coincidence. It worked out because I was really into snowboarding. So it was really cool to come back to Utah."
ZUMIEZ: "Who do you ride with the most?"
Brandon Hammid: "Right now I snowboard with a bunch of Think Thank men's like, Ted Borland, and Justin Keniston, but then outside of that I snowboard with my roommates like Chris Cloud, and Parker Duke. Pretty much just anyone that’s up at Brighton, I’m pretty down for."
ZUMIEZ: "In the last two Think Thank videos, you had an opener and an ender. What is your next big goal in snowboarding?"
Brandon Hammid: "My next goal would have to be just keeping the next group of kids snowboarding and doing what they are passionate about. Snowboarding is sick and it keeps me sane. Other than that, get a cover of a magazine. That’s probably the life long goal, and the coolest thing I think I could achieve with snowboarding."
