Known as a skater who complicates already challenging tricks,
Daryl Angel is a professional street
skateboarder who continually raises the bar in skateboarding. Sponsored by Nike SB Footwear and Apparel, Habitat Skateboards, Royal, Spitfire Wheels, and Bones Bearings, Daryl Angel also features his own signature line of Habitat skateboard decks.
Daryl Angel was born in 1988 and at the age of two moved with his mother and family to San Jose, California where he grew up. In late 2010 Daryl Angel turned pro for Habitat Skateboards, and now has his own signature series of pro model Habitat skateboard decks, a huge accomplishment for any skateboarder. Prior to turning pro, Daryl Angel had a few roles memorable roles in Nike SB’s “Nothing but the Truth” in 2007 and Nike SB's “Debacle” in 2009. His most recent role was in “Habitat Origin” where he skates difficult features such as hand rails with complete and total ease.
Though Daryl Angel doesn’t generally focus on the competition aspect of skateboarding, he was invited to be one of the professionals to compete in the 2012 X Games Real Street. A new take on contests and videos, X Games Real Street is a contest that selects 16 professional skateboarders to submit a 60 second skate video, voted on by the fans for a shot at an X Games gold medal. Daryl Angel’s part for Real Street was filmed in the Bay Area in California. In the first round Daryl Angel lost to Chris Haslam and was not able to advance.

Whether he is skating features that most others avoid, or making already challenging tricks harder by doing them frontside when everyone else is doing them backside, Daryl Angel has gained the attention of many with his unique take on skateboarding.
