Zumiez: "You have been traveling a bunch this past year. Where did you have the most fun?"
Evan Smith: "My favorite place that I've been is probably, I'd have to say Costa Rica, because we went on this epic journey through the rainforest, and it was legendary."
Zumiez: "Who was your biggest influence when you first started skateboarding?"
Evan Smith: "My biggest influence as a youngster, was Kenny Anderson, I actually had a copy of the "One Step Beyond" video, and watched it every single day. He's the freaking coolest. "
Zumiez: "What's your go-to trick when you're just skating with your friends?"
Evan Smith: "When I'm skating with my friends, my go-to trick is just to not worry about anything, but hanging out with my bros. But tricks, tricks are tricks, tricks go, then there for kids apparently."
Zumiez: "What do you think is the biggest mistake ams make in their quest to go pro?"
Evan Smith: "The biggest mistake an am could make on their quest for going professional would be trying to be too cool, you see people trying to fit into the wrong spot, and just lose themselves, but just be yourself kid."
Zumiez: "What was it like working with filmer Chris Ray?"
Evan Smith: "Working one on one with Chris Ray for the Cinematographer Project was insane. It was like the best thing ever. I've never worked with somebody that is so talented at what they do. Chris Ray is amazing, were actually working now on a part for DC, and Element that is going to be coming out on March 1st, I believe, so go check it out!"
