It doesn’t take an expert to recognize that when it comes to street skateboarding, Shane O’Neill is a force to be reckoned with. Combining technicality and precision this Street League skateboarder has a lot to bring to the table. With a solid list of sponsors such as Nike SB, Skate Mental, Fourstar Clothing, Thunder, Spitfire and more the future is looking bright for this three-time Street League skateboarder.

Shane O’Neill is from Melbourne, Australia and has been skateboarding for 12 years. He got his start from online skateboarding movies, giving him the title “internet pro”, later earning professional status in 2010 and becoming a member of the Skate Mental team as well as the renowned Nike SB team. It didn’t take long for Shane O’Neill to make a name for himself in the United States, with his role in Transworld’s “Not Another Transworld Video” where he can be seen doing tricks that had never been done before, and his performance in Battle at the Berrics 3 where he beat out seasoned skateboarders such as Eric Koston and Chris Cole, placing third overall.

The year 2010 proved to be eventful for Aussie rider Shane O’Neill when he was the final skateboarder recruited to compete in the first time ever Street League pro tour. During the first Street League pro tour Shane O’Neill placed second in the Glendale, Arizona stop, eighth in Ontario, California, and first in Las Vegas, Nevada landing him second place overall, a big feat for the Aussie newcomer. In the 2012 Street League Shane O’Neill took home the Monster Energy Award after landing a crooked grind nollie flip boardslide without even breaking a sweat.

With only two years under his belt Australian skateboarder has exploded on to the scene dominating events like Street League and the Battle at the Berrics and skating for well-known teams like Nike SB and Skate Mental. Shane O’Neill currently has his own signature line of Skate Mental skateboard decks and Fourstar Clothing including jackets, pants, shirts, accessories and more. With undeniable talent and a big career ahead of him, Shane O’Neill is taking skateboarding to all new levels.
