Zumiez Best Foot Forward Am Contest Series 2008 Presented by Boost Mobile

The second annual Zumiez Best Foot Forward (BFF) Am contest series presented by Boost Mobile will hit 13 cities in May and June. This Am contest series features a jam format to keep the contest interesting, fun and with a low stress level so that the skaters have the opportunity to land the most progressive tricks possible. For the 20-25 invited riders at each stop, they will be separated into smaller group jam sessions. The judges will then pick the top 5 skaters overall, with a focus on innovation and overall impression, to compete in the final jam session.

New this year is the addition of an open qualifier at each stop. 20 spots in the qualifier are up for grabs for the first to show up and sign up. The top three in each qualifier will be invited to compete in the invitational later that day.

Check-in and warm-up will take place at the Best Foot Forward tent on-site 30 minutes prior to each event start time.

Awards will take place immediately following the final jam session at each stop to honor the top three skaters. The winner at each stop will receive $500 in gear from that stop’s featured skate team, a $500 Zumiez Gift Card, a Boost Mobile phone, Boosted Darkness Headphones and Device Case, and a trip to Maplewood, MN to compete in the BFF Finals on June 30th. The 2nd place finisher at each stop will receive $300 in gear, a $300 Zumiez GC, and Boosted Darkness Headphones and Device Case, and 3rd will receive $200 in gear, a $200 Zumiez GC, and a Boosted Device Case.

The top three finishers in Maplewood will then receive a trip to compete in the Hometown Heroes Finals at the fifth annual etnies GvR event in Lake Forest, CA.
