Nor Cal represent!!!

The BFF comp went off in Nor Cal! Unfortunately we had to cut off the number of entries for the open qualifier and maxed out the invite-only list too. In only our second year for BFF the word is getting out there, and the “who’s who” is the Bay Area skate scene showed up to be a part of it. We had the up and coming youngsters 8-12 years old, a talented girl (Leila Langi) and the rest of the guys out there killing it all afternoon.

3rd went to last year’s Milpitas winner Mario Matabele. With his smooth lazy style he landed gap to noseblunt and an effortless 3 flip over the bank-to-bank, nollie nose grind down the hubba and a bunch of other tricks that he could of landed with his hands in his pockets. 2nd went to another steezler, Andrew Langi. He advanced from the open qualifiers to make the Finals with a big bag of tricks and a mastery of lip tricks too. With a more intense style, 16 year old Tommy Werner took home 1st place by landing tough tricks all over the street course with high speed and earned the right to represent Nor Cal in the BFF Finals in Minneapolis later this month.
