Almost Skateboards was formed in 2003 by Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song. Almost Skateboards diversifies themselves from other companies by using less traditional materials, such as Resin and Epoxy, along with a few other more experimental skateboard technology. Almost Skateboards has released two skateboards that use carbon fiber; The uber Light and the Impact Support. Almost Skateboards are known for their lightweight products, and the technical prowess of the Almost skate team.
The Zumiez Couch Tour is a free event with pro skate teams, the Best Foot Forward Am skate competition, live music and DIY activities and prizing. The Zumiez Couch Tour makes 12 stops across the country every summer. This year, the Zumiez Couch Tour will feature skateboarding demos from Toy Machine, Volcom, Zero, Fallen, Almost, Enjoi, DGK, Supra, Alien Workshop, Habitat, and the Plan B skate teams.
