Depending on your specific riding style and preferences, each style, size and material of longboard will provide a different feel. Many pintail longboards use looser trucks and larger wheels making them ideal for the "surf"-styled carve, while cruiser boards are slightly smaller with large wheels making them great for both tricks and catching speed and carving down hills.
