The Burton Process Flying V is an amazing all-mountain freestyle board built to rip any feature on the mountain. Burton's Flying V camber profile is responsive, snappy, playful and floaty; all the essentials for a do-it-all board. To top it off, the Process is favored by 6 time X Games Gold medalist Mark McMorris, one of the first riders to master the triple cork. You may or may not be stomping triples yet, but when you're ready, the Process will be up to the task.

More Details
  • 2017 Burton Process 162cm Wide Snowboard.

  • Rocker/Camber Profile
  • Flying V: rocker between the feet, cambered zones under each foot and more rocker at the tip and tail.
  • This gives the rider excellent pop and response underfoot while the rocker between the feet adds a ton of maneuverability and makes floating in powder a breeze.

  • Shape
  • Twin: the Burton Process's twin profile is completely symmetrical; the nose and tail are the same shape and the board's inserts are centered on the deck.
  • Twin boards give the rider pure versatility all over the mountain.

  • Edge
  • Frostbite Edges extend out slightly underfoot to increase edge hold and stability in icy and hardpack conditions.

  • Topsheet
  • Triax Fiberglass gives the board spectacular response when attacking bigger features but doesn't sacrifice flex when executing tweaked out maneuvers.

  • Core
  • FSC Certified Super Fly II 700G Core is stronger, lighter, and full of pop.
  • Dualzone EGD is a series of wood grains running perpendicular to core along the heel and toe edge.
  • This creates a more consistent edge hold and generates additional strength and response.
  • Squeezebox is a core profiling technique that gives your board more energy, pop and control when engaging the flex of your board.

  • Base
  • Made with a sintered base for maximum wax retention and speed.

  • Specs/Dims
  • Flex rating: Happy Medium with a slightly softer flex.
  • Waist width: 26.2
  • Nose/Tail Width: 30.7/30.7
  • Reference Stance: 22"/.5" set back.
  • Suggested rider weight: 165-205 lbs.

  • Bonus Features
  • The Channel is Burton's unique binding-mounting system that allows you to adjust your stance to virtually any width and angle.
  • The Channel is quick to adjust, stronger than traditional inserts and is compatible with all major bindings on the market.
  • Pro-Tips slim down the thickness of the board's tip and tail to reduce swing weight.
  • The Scoop is a convex nose and tail shape that creates a catch-free edge when locking into butters and presses.
  • Infinite Ride is Burton's unique board building process.
  • They overbuild the board and run it through a machine that engages the flex over and over.
  • The end result: a board with the same flex, pop and response on the first day you ride it and every day thereafter.
  • Burton offers a 3 Year Warranty on the Process.
