Capita Snowboards

Capita Snowboards is a Seattle-based snowboard company that was formed by Jason Brown and Blue Montgomery in 2000, with the help of artists including Human05, Ephka, Dustin Krysak, and Corey Smith. Capita focuses on the progressive freestyle snowboarding market. In 2005, Capita reissued the "Black Snowboard Of Death" under the name of "Black Death Speed Tribe", which won the Transworld Snowboarding's coveted "Good Wood" award in 2001. Capita's freestyle/jib specific boards including the Stairmaster, Scaremaster, Stairmaster extreme, and Midlife Photo have won many TransWorld awards. Capita sponsors a team of professional snowboarders, which has included TJ Schneider, Dan Brisse, Dustin Craven, Scott Stevens, and Laura Hadar.
