ZUMIEZ: "How long have you been involved with High Cascade Snowboard Camp?"
Scott Stevens: "I came here as a camper, with my buddy Ross Phillips in 2000 maybe? Then I started working here soon after. So I've been working here for close to a decade, and coming up here, dig to ride, hiking, and loving this place to close to 13 years."
ZUMIEZ: "What's the experience like teaching clinics?"
Scott Stevens: "It was like for a long time, how I made money, but I've coached some awesome dudes that I've seen come a long way. It gave me a spark you know? It's really fun to shred around with the kids, and see them progress, and be a part of that. "
ZUMIEZ: "Does 32 put research and development into helping you do better one footers?
Scott Stevens: "Yeah, 32 definitely did. Case in point, my boot color ways are always usually have a poppy colored sole. So whenever I am sticking it out towards the camera, or whatever it pops you know? Then I ride a stiffer boot. So yeah, those two together really help for one-footers. "
ZUMIEZ: "Did Chris Grenier have any influence in your boot coming in a Boston Bruins colorway?"
Scott Stevens: "I have a Change That Tape boot, which is black and green, and then I have the new limited boot, which is the Frankenstein. Yeah, Chris Grenier, and I, and Mike Morgan do the website, Change That Tape. We make our own edits too, its fun."
ZUMIEZ: "Whose video parts are stoking you out and inspiring you the most these days?"
Scott Stevens: "A lot of the video parts that stoke me out still are parts that I grew up on. Scotty Wittlake part, or a Travis Parker part, or even just watching Terje in Subjekt Haakonsen, and Haakon Factor. Then when it comes to new stuff all the men's in Keep the Change are some of my favorite up and comers. Oh yeah, and also anything my friends do. I really get hyped seeing my friends do new stuff."
