From Corona, California Billy Marks starred in his first video part in 2002 in “Digital Difference”, later featuring roles in Toy Machine Skateboard’s “Good & Evil”, “Suffer the Joy” and Fallen Footwear’s “Ride the Sky”. Billy Marks has featured a variety of video clips on the Berrics website including his famed role as Battle Commander where he skated to “Thriller” showing off his diverse range of skills. A well known name with the Berrics, Billy Marks is also a regular competitor in the Battle at the Berrics, where in the first year he took third place.
Along with notable roles in skateboarding cinema Billy Marks has also competed in famous competitions such as the Tampa Pro where in 2006 he took first for Best Trick. In 2010 Billy Marks was one of the 24 professionals selected to compete in the Street League Pro Tour. In the 2011 Street League Billy Marks qualified for the Championship where he placed seventh and ranked sixth overall. In two of the 2011 Street League stops Billy marks was appointed by fellow competitors to receive the Zumiez 24-7 Award for his noteworthy performance, and took home the $7,000 cash prize. The same year Billy Marks was chosen to compete in the X-Games 17 Real Street competition where professionals submit a sixty second video voted on by fans for a chance at a cash prize and an X-Games gold medal. Originally an alternate Billy Marks was able to submit his footage after one of the other competitors sustained an injury. His video took him all the way to the final round where he came in second place.
