Zumiez: "Has the riding experience changed over the years that you've been pro?"
Curtis Ciszek: "At some points its like a job and you have to wake up at 5 in the morning and go out, you'd rather sleep in I'm sure, but once you get out in the mountains its mostly stress free. There's always times when you're like 'I don't want to hit this right now but I really need shots.' but for the most part its still just as fun as the day I started."
Zumiez: "Do you change your approach when riding for a photo shoot as opposed to a video shoot?"
Curtis Ciszek: "I think most of the photos that people see are taken while we're filming for movie projects, I mean there's always catalog shoots or stuff like that where its more lifestyle and the companies are trying to display their product more than action but you get most of your action photos while filming."
Zumiez: "Where's your favorite place to ride?"
Curtis Ciszek: "I'm gonna have to say it's still the beginning of the year at home. I love being at home when fall and winter rolls around and riding with all my friends here in Bend, and I know the mountain better than anywhere else. There's also a lot of fun stuff that goes on at the beginning of the year like the Dirksen Derby, I don't know. Its just a good place to get warmed up for the beginning of the season."
Zumiez: "Who has the best vision of what snowboarding is about?"
Curtis Ciszek: "I think for me its awesome for the weekend warriors that drive up from the city. They're the dudes that everybody hates who lives at the mountain but they're the ones that are coming up and buying lift tickets, doing it just for the fun, and nothing else, that's pretty cool."
