Zumiez: "How long have you been pro and do you have any new goals now being pro?"
"I've been pro for three months. I don't really have a goal that i'm trying to get towards just maybe film as much stuff as possible and shoot as many photos as possible."
Zumiez: "How would your pro life be different if you were living in Southern California rather than back home in Richmond, Viriginia?"
Gilbert Crockett: "It would probably be a lot harder for me to deal with everything pretty much. Just for me to be able to be near friends and family, and just like being near where I grew up skating it just keeps it more fun. It keeps me with a good perspective on things. I probably wouldn't be as happy if I was living out here."
Zumiez: "How does it feel to be 1 of 4 pros sponsored head to toe by Vans?"
Gilbert Crockett: "Really awesome. I couldn't be more psyched to be riding for the company that I'm riding for. I know everyone, I'm comfortable being around them, so I don't really think about it like that but it's awesome. I couldn't ask for anything more."
Zumiez: "Any Alien Workshop or Vans ams to look out for this year?"
Gilbert Crockett: "John Fitzgerald is like the main one. And Taylor Smith. And who's that little kid? Patrick Ryan? He's pretty sick, I saw him skate the other day. Yeah, there's a lot of them. Rippers"
Zumiez: "Any new tricks you are currently working on?"
Gilbert Crockett: "You know when you ride into a ledge backside and you're nollie backside, but like, you're on the tail.... nevermind it's fakie, so you ride at a ledge fakie backside, and you just kinda.... you don't really pop, you just kinda... you don't really.... yeah. No. No. Not really."
