ZUMIEZ: "You've had a pretty epic year with Pretty Sweet, and turning Pro. Where do you go fromhere?"
RAVEN TERSHY: From here, just keep skating. I've been kind of hurt. I had a hurt knee, and broke my wrist really bad. I had to get surgery, so since I turned pro I haven't been able to do as much skating as I'd like to. So I'm just trying to keep on my board, keep skating; do more filming projects, more traveling, and try and stay healthy."
ZUMIEZ: "Is there truth to the rumor that you're focusing more on street skating?"
RAVEN TERSHY: I'm just focusing on skating; I didn't even know that was a rumor. I like skating everything. I just skate a little more street because its harder for me. I'm trying to get better at that."
ZUMIEZ: "How is skating with the legends on the Girl/Chocolate Campus different from skating with the homies back home in Santa Cruz?"
RAVEN TERSHY: "At first it was a little intimidating for sure. Kicking it with Koston, Guy, and MJ, and all those dudes, but you realize they are just some friends that like skating too, and we get some good sessions going. It's different than skating with the homies because we are usually filming and stuff, but its crazy getting to skate with those guys. It always makes you want to try harder because they are just ripping so hard. Its like you gotta step your game up when your skating around the big dogs like that."
ZUMIEZ: "Pretty Sweet was your first real filming experience. Is filming a part of everyday life for you now?"
RAVEN TERSHY: "Yah, I mean like I said, I have kinda been hurt a little bit since I turned Pro, so I haven't been filming and skating as much as I'd like to. Now that I am Pro I should probably be focused on filming a little more than just skating. I got a couple of good friends that film, so it's easy to go out with the homies and try to get some clips."
ZUMIEZ: "Has Lakai proved to be a good home for your feet?"
RAVEN TERSHY: "Of course. What more could you ask for really, than Lakai. I mean I deal with Kelly Bird, Scott Johnston, Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, and Sam Smyth as my bosses. Those are all close friends of mine, and they make awesome shoes. Thanks Lakai, I couldn't ask for much more."
ZUMIEZ: "Who do you hang with the most out of the Girl/Chocolate crew?"
RAVEN TERSHY: "Our usual crew is like Vincent Alvarez, Stevie Perez, Cory Kennedy, and Elijah Berle. Pretty much would be who I hang out with, but on tour a lot like Justin Eldridge, and Brandon Biebel, and all those guys. Mostly when were just skating, we get the crew going.
Raven Tershy rides for Lakai, Chocolate, Diamond, Spitfire, Volcom, Skateworks, Monster, DAF, and Ace."
