Rob Dyrdek started skateboarding at the age of 11 in Ohio, and has since became one of the most famous, iconic, and successful skateboarders of all time.

Dyrdek got his big start in the skateboarding world by creating Alien Workshop Skateboards, and after moving to California at 16, became a part of DC Shoe Company.

Rob has since ventured out into the world of television after the release of "The DC Video" that featured Dyrdek skating with his fake body guard Big Black. Soon after the release of The DC Video Rob and Big Black started a television show titled "Rob & Big" which thrust Dyrdek further into the spotlight and introduced him and skateboarding to a much wider audience. Since then Dyrdek has established the Street League Skateboarding competition which now offers the largest prize purse in skateboarding history, Rogue Status Clothing, signature DC pro model shoes, Alien Workshop pro model skateboards, his own line of Wild Grinders skate toys, his own TAG body spray scent, numerous skateboarding world records, multiple other television shows including "Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory" and "Ridiculousness" and most recently was he was featured in a Chevrolet commercial ad where Rob kickfliped a car over the world's largest skateboard, that also happened to be the creator of.
