Description

The Ghost 156cm Snowboard from Yes is a modern camber marvel. This hard-charging, all-mountain terrain killer offers up a full camber profile that maintains firm edgehold at higher speeds and provides extra pop. The Directional Volume Twin outline helps this true twin shape float better than expected in deeper snow, while the MidBite tech provides a wider platform underfoot without compromising response. With it's stiffer flex and Poplar/Paulonia/Bamboo core, the Ghost offers up quick response and pop that will have you leaving your friends in the dust.

    Model:
  • Men's 2019 Ghost Snowboard from Yes.

  • Rocker / Camber Profile:
  • Modern Camber: Provides extreme pop and edgehold at high speeds. Contact points are located at the tip and tail with raised camber underfoot. Rocker in the tip and tail, camber underfoot. A versitile ride that provides firm edgehold, but still offers float in deeper snow.

  • Shape:
  • Directional Volume True Twin: Features a symmetrical flex, centered stance, and the tip and tail are identical in shape, but with 15% more surface volume in the tip than the tail, allowing for better floatation in powder.

  • Edges:
  • MidBite: Blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of a wider nose and tail.
  • Hardened steel metal edges.

  • Core:
  • Poplar/Paulownia/Bamboo: Creating a lighter, more responsive core than the Full Poplar. The Poplar + Bamboo uses the same durable core, lightens it up by replacing 30% of the Poplar with Paulonia and then inserts two bamboo stringers down the full lenth for added pop and response.

  • Base:
  • Sintered True: Pellets or course powder is pressed until it forms a solid. There are several suppliers for the entire industry and they each have different codes for them, depending on the color and transparency. These codes can make it seem like you're getting many different kinds and grades of sintered but they're all pretty much the same as far as you and I will ever tell. True Sintered is harder and more expensive than extruded and it can be faster for those that ride aggressively fast. But to do that, it needs to be waxed and prepared for local conditions.

  • Flex:
  • 7/10 Flex Rating: A stiffer yet playful snowboard that charges through chunder with stability while absorbing vibrations and maintains speed through deep-driving turns.

  • Additional Features:
  • Triax Fiberglass: Increases the board's torsional stiffness and response while adding strength.
  • 10 - 2 x 4 cm steel insert configuration.
  • Limited lifetime manufacturer warranty.
  • Imported.
