Tensor Trucks was founded by Rodney Mullen in 2000. Mullen has revolutionized the way trucks are perceived, by adding little bits of smart details to the Trucks, like the "Slider". Tensor keep re-developing and innovating their trucks and have come up with some really amazing results, such as the magnesium truck, said to be the lightest skateboard truck in the world. Tensors are the lightest skateboard truck ever built. Reviewed as having the best grind and best turning radius for improved skating. What makes them have the best grind? The kingpin sits below the hanger allowing less chance of hanging up. The hanger of the skateboard truck is made of magnesium; which is 33% lighter than aluminum, 60% lighter than titanium, and 75% lighter than steel. It is also stronger per unit volume than all three of those structural metals. For grinding, the harder the metal the less chance of the metal being gouged and slowing you down whether that be on a curb or rail.
