Madrid Skateboards was first established in the late '60s when Jerry Madrid started creating fiberglass skateboards in his down time between surfing and shaping surfboards. He began shaping surfboards in his parents Norwalk, California garage and soon took this passion and creativity to skateboards by experimenting with multiple types of lamination and unique shapes. Today, Madrid skateboards is now Madrid Pro Designs and based in Huntington Beach, California. Madrid Pro Designs continues to develop top of the line skateboards with innovative shapes and designs but they still manage to stay true to their roots.
