How Do I Get Free Shipping?
Zumiez offers free economy shipping on qualifying online orders shipped to the contiguous United States and free ship-to-store on every order, no minimum required. Here's exactly how it works.
How Free Shipping Works
When your order meets the minimum purchase threshold, free economy shipping is automatically available at checkout — no coupon code needed. Zumiez does not use promo codes or discount codes. Any "Zumiez coupon" you find on a third-party site is not legitimate.
Free economy orders ship via FedEx or USPS (carrier determined by destination and availability) and typically arrive in 3–10 business days within the contiguous US. Once your order is processed, delivery address changes are not available.
What's Not Included
Free shipping applies to most standard orders, but there are a few exceptions:
- Alaska and Hawaii — not eligible for free shipping. See Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii for available options.
- APO/FPO addresses — not eligible for free shipping. See APO/FPO Shipping Tips.
- US Territories and international destinations — not eligible. Standard international rates apply.
- Oversized items — some products are excluded due to size or weight. These will be clearly noted in the product description on the item page.
For all excluded destinations and items, standard carrier rates apply at checkout.
Free Ship-to-Store - Always Free, No Minimum
You can ship any order to your local Zumiez store for free - no minimum purchase required, no exclusions. This is a great option if you're close to a store, want to avoid shipping costs on a smaller order, or prefer to try items on before taking them home.
To use it, select "Ship to Store" at checkout and choose your nearest location. You'll receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. You have 5 days to collect your order once it arrives.
Faster Shipping Options
Need it sooner? For orders of $64.94 or more before tax, a discounted expedited option is available:
- 3-Day Shipping — $8.95 flat rate (orders $59.95+)
- Free Economy — 3–10 business days (qualifying orders)
- Express — 2 business days (order by 1:00 PM local time)
- Next Day Air — 1 business day (order by 1:00 PM local time, weekdays only)

Holiday Shipping
During the holiday season, orders of $64.94 or more qualify for a flat-rate shipping option with <strong>guaranteed delivery by December 24. This option appears at checkout when it's active. Visit the Holiday Help page for exact dates each year.

Does Zumiez charge a shipping fee?
Zumiez does not charge a shipping fee on qualifying orders that meet the free shipping threshold. Ship-to-store is always free with no minimum. For orders that don't qualify for free shipping, or for expedited delivery, standard carrier rates apply and are shown at checkout before you place your order.
Why isn't my order qualifying for free shipping?
The most common reasons free shipping isn't available at checkout:
- Your order total is below the minimum threshold — add more items or choose ship-to-store (always free)
- Your shipping destination is Alaska, Hawaii, an APO/FPO address, a US Territory, or international
- Your cart contains an oversized item that's excluded from the promotion
Are Zumiez returns free?
In-store returns are always free. Bring your item and receipt to any Zumiez location — no shipping, no wait, no cost. For mail-in returns, customers are responsible for purchasing their own postage.
