Shipping to Special Destinations
Standard shipping options and timelines don't always apply to every address. Below are the specific rules for Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, military addresses, U.S. Territories, Puerto Rico, and international orders.
Alaska & Hawaii
Fewer shipping options are available to Alaska and Hawaii. The following methods are offered for AK/HI shipments:

- Free ship-to-store
- Express ship-to-store
Rural areas in Alaska or Hawaii
Addresses in more remote or rural areas of Alaska and Hawaii may incur an additional $3.00 carrier fee, charged at the time of delivery.
P.O. Boxes in Alaska or Hawaii
We do ship to P.O. Boxes in Alaska and Hawaii. Please allow up to 15–30 business days for delivery, as disclosed at checkout. See the P.O. Box section below for general P.O. Box guidance.
P.O. Boxes
P.O. Box orders ship via USPS only and add delivery time beyond the dates shown at checkout.
The estimated delivery date displayed at checkout is the date your package arrives at your local post office - not the date it reaches your P.O. Box. Allow an extra 2–3 days on top of what checkout shows. Choose an expedited service if timing matters.
Tracking updates for P.O. Box shipments may be limited or delayed while the package is in transit with USPS.
If you're able to receive FedEx at your home address, switching from a P.O. Box to a street address will give you more accurate delivery estimates and faster shipping options at checkout.
P.O. Boxes in Alaska or Hawaii: Allow up to 30 business days for delivery.
APO/FPO Military Addresses
We ship to APO and FPO addresses. To ensure your order reaches the right destination, follow these guidelines when entering your address:
- Include the recipient's full name and rank if applicable
- Use all available address fields — Company Name, Address 1, and Address 2 — military addresses can be long
- Enter "APO" or "FPO" in the City field
- In the State/Province field, select Armed Forces with the appropriate location: Africa, Americas, Canada, Europe, Middle East, or Pacific
- In the Country field, always select United States — this ensures domestic shipping rates apply regardless of where the recipient is stationed
Orders to APO or FPO addresses may take up to 30 business days or more for delivery.
U.S. Territories
Zumiez ships to all U.S. Territories: American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
For orders to U.S. Territories, enter your territory's name in the Country field. Selecting "United States" will produce errors and your order may be cancelled.
Orders shipping to U.S. Territories are subject to our International Shipping Policies, including duties and customs charges.

Puerto Rico
We ship to Puerto Rico. To complete your address correctly:
- Select United States as the Country
- Select Puerto Rico as the State
Please allow up to 24 hours for these orders to process. Orders shipping to Puerto Rico are subject to our International Shipping Policies.
Freight Forwarders
Shipping to a U.S. freight forwarding company is an acceptable way to receive your order internationally. However, all orders marked as delivered to a freight forwarding address are considered finaldelivery. No refunds or reshipping are available once carrier delivery is confirmed.
International Shipping Policies
The following policies apply to all orders shipping outside the contiguous United States, including U.S. Territories and Puerto Rico.
- We do not ship to international P.O. Boxes
- We ship to international residential addresses only — not to businesses, hotels, motels, or resorts
- All orders are subject to verification before processing
- We are required to complete a customs declaration at the retail value of the items purchased — Zumiez cannot legally declare orders as gifts
- Current shipping carriers are FedEx and DHL — this is subject to change
- All prices are in US dollars
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs for refunds or exchanges
Duties and customs
International customers are responsible for applicable sales tax, duties, and customs charges as determined by their local government. These fees are collected upon delivery and are not included in your order total. Zumiez cannot provide the exact amount in advance. By completing your order you agree to pay all applicable fees. If your order is refused upon delivery, it will not be returned to Zumiez and no refund will be processed.
Order verification
We may contact you by email to request additional information during order verification. If we do not receive a response within 3 business days, your order will be cancelled.
Restricted items for international shipping
The following products cannot be shipped outside the United States. Orders containing these items will be cancelled:

- Adidas
- Converse
- Hazardous materials: aerosol sprays and lithium-ion batteries

Why Does My Tracking Show a California Delivery?
Zumiez ships from store locations and a fulfillment center in Corona, California. When an international order contains multiple items from different stores, we consolidate them at the California warehouse before shipping internationally in a single package. This consolidation step saves you shipping costs and ensures your full order arrives together.
The California tracking activity reflects items moving from stores to the fulfillment center, this tracking number does not show your final international shipment. Once all items are received at the warehouse, we ship the consolidated package to your address and send a follow-up email with your international tracking number.
This process adds a small amount of time to your order but reduces costs and the risk of partial shipments.
